When you are planning out your wedding, you’ll be spending a great deal of time on the decorations. If you want to impress your guests, then some of the more important decorations are how you are going to decorate the tables in the reception dinner. You should go for something that is in keeping with the rest of the style of the wedding and fits in well with the overall theme. Following are some basic tips for wedding table decorations.
Having beautiful floral arrangements in the centrepieces of the tables is a great idea and something that is very suitable for more traditional scenarios. They eye-catching and can provide a nice fragrance to the area. This should fit with everything else in the room and colours and quantities should be chosen with care. Whether you go for real or fake flowers, is entirely up to you. You might not want to be left with a huge quantity of fake flowers afterwards, in which case you’ll be better off with real flowers, which most people think look a lot better anyway.
Lighting is another important factor to consider. While candles are by far the most popular and common options, you might want to go for small table lamps or have no such accessories at all. The advantage of candles, however, is that they can also provide fragrance if you get certain types. They often provide a romantic atmosphere and a very suitable for more traditional fairy-tale weddings.
There is certainly no shortage of details to consider. Such details include the folding of the napkins, whether you want to use tablecloths, the presentation of the food and drink amongst a number of other things. It is very important that everything remains consistent because if things look out of place, it will seriously detract from the overall atmosphere and the theme of your wedding.
